The Esoteric Breast Massage (EBM) is a specialised women’s health technique that is performed by highly trained, EPA accredited and fully insured female practitioners, instructed by experienced female trainers.

The Esoteric Breast Massage (EBM), as taught by Universal Medicine, is founded on the philosophy of self care, that specific to women, supports the development of increased body and breast awareness and encourages a greater responsibility for one’s own health and wellbeing. The philosophy, teachings, and founding principles of this therapy and its practice are the work and teachings of Universal Medicine, integrity of which is evident in the exemplary responsibility and care practitioners express through their conduct and service delivery.

Increased Body & Breast Awareness

There is a growing body of clinical evidence that lifestyle choices are critical in preventing a wide variety of diseased and ill states. It has been documented that people with a greater awareness of their body are more likely to notice and address their symptoms earlier. We have observed this in clients receiving the Esoteric Breast Massage. Supporting women to develop a relationship with their breasts initiates greater breast awareness and overall body awareness, and in many cases has resulted in a more open and less fearful relationship with medical practitioners. Breast screening is an essential part of our responsibility as women for early detection of breast cancer however, developing a deeply nurturing relationship with our own breasts is an important step towards true breast health.

The Esoteric Breast Massage (EBM) is non-diagnostic and does not claim to be a substitute for medical diagnosis, treatment for breast cancer or any other medical treatment. Conventional medicine is held in high regard and  EBM practitioners are trained to work complementary to the work of medical professionals in the field of women’s health.

'We must free the woman to allow her to truly be in every way – so that we can benefit from her living stillness and her natural nurturing ways.'
~ Serge Benhayon

The EBM is designed to support women in understanding and developing true breast care at a time when little or no attention is paid to this care unless the woman is facing a life threatening breast-related disease or illness or is experiencing challenges with breast-feeding. The breasts reflect an energetic centre of nurturing for a woman and through this modality a woman has the opportunity to reconnect with a gentler, more nurturing way of being, inspiring a woman to make different choices in her daily life that are supportive and honouring of the exquisite tenderness and beauty she begins to feel is within her once more.

The EBM is a very gentle, nurturing massage technique performed directly on the skin, including the chest area between the breasts and the lymphatic area under the armpits, with some contact over and around the body of the breasts. The EBM uses circular movements applied with very light pressure. The technique is only ever practised by women for women.

Practitioners are accredited by the The Esoteric Practitioners Association (EPA)* the branch of Universal Medicine that was instigated by Universal Medicine to serve the purpose of monitoring and accrediting the modalities and therapies that were founded and are taught by Universal Medicine, whose governing document the EPA Code of Ethics and Conduct requires of its practitioners to commit to living a life that effectively ‘walks the talk’ – in other words if you’re going to advise someone on lifestyle choices related to developing greater self care, then the practitioner must address any issues they have in this area, committing to an ever deepening of their own self care in order that they can support another.
