What being a 'Practitioner of Life' means to me
A Practitioner of Life to me is someone that lives true love and care for themselves and others equally in their everyday life. He/she is someone that doesn't put a mask on when they enter the workplace, but walk their talk. They see that all their choices have an effect, whether seen or unseen. They live and work in a way that is full of integrity, and not attached to recognition.

What being a 'Practitioner of Life' means to me

I am coming to understand that life cannot be compartmentalised into work, home, leisure, etc. How I live and the choices I make in one part affect all others - it is all one life.

Why I joined the EPA?

The level of integrity and ethics within which the EPA operate are the highest of any organisation I have worked for or read about. The support I am offered by being a member is first class and the reflection I am offered in each interaction with them inspires me to deepen my level of integrity not only as a Complimentary to Medicine Practitioner, private tutor in English as a Second Language and Teacher Aide but in every area of my life.

What being a 'Practitioner of Life' means to me
Throughout my 30 years of experience as a health practitioner, working across 5 continents, I have joined many professional associations around the world. What really stood out to me about the Esoteric Practitioners Association, was that it is not about ticking boxes. Being a member of the EPA has been a completely different and refreshing experience, as the purpose of the EPA is to support practitioners to support humanity – it is not about gaining recognition or protecting a profession, but about ensuring the highest quality of healthcare is provided by its members. The EPA has taken professional responsibility and integrity to a whole new level and in my opinion holds a higher level of integrity than any association I have ever come across.

What being a 'Practitioner of Life' means to me
It means our responsibility as a practitioner doesn't start and stop at the treatment room or office door. When you're a 'Practitioner of Life' everything matters – from a simple trip to the supermarket to a client session, from an interaction with a fellow commuter on the train to the way you greet your family each evening. You either heal or you harm, no matter what your occupation.
